Sustainable Agricultural Intervention Network & Terminal (SAINT)

SAINT aims to revolutionize agricultural practices in local communities by promoting sustainable farming methods and supporting smallholder farmers or farming families to sustainably transit from subsistence to commercial production. The SAINT program – tagged the poverty exit program enables smallholder farmers to gain access to development assistance (access to farm inputs, finance, insurance, knowledge and technology transfer, and markets). Through SAINT, we're fostering food security, enhancing agricultural productivity, and empowering farmers to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. SAINT features the Rural Agricultural Intervention & Logistics (RAIL) Hub, the Farm Input Guarantee Supply Scheme (FIGSS), Easy Farming App, proxy-farming app, virtual interaction and transaction app, SAINT leger, and the Family Life Improvement Program (FLIP). To pilot the SAINT Program G774 is implementing the Urban Agricultural (UrbanA) and Community Climate Smart Sustainable Agriculture (CSSA) Projects. These intervention projects will complement the efforts of the government and development partners.

1. Development Assistance: LDAs support local stakeholders in identifying, accessing, and managing development funding, technical assistance, and investment opportunities.


2. Data Revolution Program: LDAs drive the Data Revolution Program by:

- Implementing and managing data capture, baseline surveys, needs assessments, and user research

- Assisting local authorities, businesses, and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in onboarding the digital matchmaking platform


3. Capacity Building: LDAs build capacity among local stakeholders through training, mentorship, and technical assistance, enhancing their ability to drive development initiatives.


4. Stakeholder Engagement: LDAs facilitate collaboration among local government authorities, businesses, CBOs, and communities, ensuring inclusive decision-making and collective action.
